If there’s one plight that’s been on the minds of businesses across the globe, it’s the dependency and the rising costs around gas and electricity. Seed Processing Holland has foreseen this situation and has developed some years ago new innovative seed drying solutions. We introduced new sustainable heat pump- and water-based seed drying technologies to meet the demand and desire for reduction of energy and carbon emissions.
As an international leader in sustainable agriculture, HM.CLAUSE specializes in the breeding, production, and sales of high-quality vegetable seeds. Recognising this unique technology, HM.CLAUSE based in Portes lès Valence, France chose to invest in our heat pump seed drying technology.
In an insulated cell, there are several positions where the drying boxes can be placed in a rack. Each box can be taken in and out independently during the drying process. Each drying position has independent drying control (with sensor measurement). The air we use to dry the seeds is dehumidified. Energy that is recovered during the de-humidification process is re-used and returned to the air in a recirculating environment (closed loop system). Regardless of ambient conditions, seeds can be dried every day via an optimal drying protocol, and operators can fully monitor the process visually via smart information screens.
Our Project Managers are conducting structured meetings with their counterparts at HM.CLAUSE to get details and designs discussed and approved. In this way, misunderstandings can be avoided and our project planning can be reached for the operational date in March 2024.
