As the market leader in tobacco seeds in Brazil, Alliance One International maintains a robust infrastructure for seed production. However, certain stages of the seed industrialization process were outsourced to third-party providers, limiting control over quality and efficiency. To address this, the company made a strategic decision to fully verticalize its seed industrialization operations and optimize its existing processing methods.
Alliance One partnered with Seed Processing Holland (SPH) to design and implement state-of-the-art SPH machinery at their new facility. This collaboration ensured consistent seed quality at every stage of production, aligning with the company’s commitment to excellence.
Building and implementing a new seed processing unit posed significant technical and operational challenges, including equipment configuration, process development, and training operators. SPH provided end-to-end support throughout the project, ensuring a seamless transition and successful launch of the facility.
Alliance One continues to advance its Industrialization Unit, with SPH remaining a key partner in driving innovation and success.
